Interviews
Knott’s Berry Farm Public Relations is more than happy to assist you with setting up the perfect interview regarding the park and its attractions. Please contact the Public Relations Department to set up an interview.
Live Remotes
Knott’s Berry Farm’s Public Relations Department is able to provide assistance with both radio and television live remotes. All remotes must be arranged no less than one week prior to the remote (except for breaking news).
MEDIA TICKET REQUESTS
All requests for media passes must be submitted via our Media Ticket Request Form. If approved, Knott's Berry Farm may issue up to four (4) complimentary passes per one-time visit during our calendar year. The request must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to your visit.
Please note that this courtesy is extended to active members of the news media only and does not include office, sales, or retired personnel. Proof of employment or job assignment may be required.
Whether you’re working with us as part of an official partnership or just visiting on your own and creating content, we do have some general guidelines you must follow. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in safety-related ejection from the park and/or the termination of opportunities to work with the park in the future.
• Large cameras and crews are not permitted. For larger productions, please get in touch with us by emailing pr@knotts.com with your specific request.
• Equipment acceptable for recording on midways includes phones, GoPros, small video cameras and DSLRs without stabilization equipment.
• On-ride photography is strictly prohibited. This includes the use of GoPro (regardless of securing mechanism), Google Glass or other sunglass-based cameras, or any other micro camera device.
• Photography is permitted in public areas of the park only and should not interfere with park operation or the guest experience in any way.
• The use of drones over Knott's Berry Farm property and its guests is strictly prohibited. Any unauthorized drone(s) observed over Knott's Berry Farm will be reported to the FAA and local law enforcement, regardless of its point of origin or operation. Drones may pose a potential safety risk and may violate FAA guidelines.
• While gathering content, interviewing guests or Associates is not permitted. This includes off-site properties that are owned and/or managed by Knott's Berry Farm.
• Please tag our official Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or TikTok accounts in your posts - we may share the content you've created!
At Knott’s Berry Farm we're happy to work with content creators who support our park values and are excited to help tell our story.
However, we will not work with influencers whose content or personal activity:
• Does not support our park values (Integrity, Courtesy, Inclusiveness, Safety, Service, Cleanliness);
• Bullies, harasses or discriminates against other people or associates, online or in the park;
• Shows behind-the-scenes or restricted areas without park approval;
• Shares park insider information (including, but not limited to photos, video, documents or details about future events/attractions) without park approval;
• Actively spreads misinformation about company policies, programs or associates;
• Violates park safety rules, code of conduct or creator guidelines;
• Includes copyright infringement and/or unauthorized use of Six Flags' intellectual property;
• Portrays the park, or any other Six Flags park, in an inappropriate manner.
We believe in supporting inclusive and positive online communities and will review previously posted content when considering partnerships.
